December 3, 2004. International Day of Disabled Persons
The United Nations Organization has announced December 3 as the International Day of Disabled persons. The UN Commission on Human Rights, in its Resolution # 1993/29 of March 5, 1993, addressed its call for all country-participants to pay maximum attention to the celebration of the day: "in order to assist disabled persons in opportunity of more complete and equal possession of human rights and participation in social activities."
Uzbekistan-Japan Center and A-Club, composed of Business Course graduates (Manager of the Charity Project of A-Club is the OrexCA.com' CEO), in collaboration with the management of Uzexpocentre has conducted a charity action on December 3 and 4 with a view to introduce people in Uzbekistan to public organizations where work is aimed at rendering assistance to disabled persons and orphans.
On December 3, a concert program took place and an exhibition and sale of drawings and wares started its 2 days of work. We hope that the given action have strengthened and established cooperation between organizations as well as facilitated the realization of produce of labor and creative work of disabled people and orphans.
