Description: This tour is an example of a hosted package tour, consisting of a combination of historical and natural components. In the following itinerary, only the highlights are shown. If necessary, the tour guide is always allowed to make changes in the program.
On offer is a very interesting route, connecting the scope of two eras, the past and the present, the root of which leads far back to that unknown period of Zoroastrianism, to the descendants of fire worshippers. These last "Preserved Tribes of the Pamir" have maintained their history, culture, way of life and traditions up to present day. These people lead their lives in the mountainous valleys of the Zerafshan ranges of the Pamir. You'll be given the chance to experience this anachronism during our tour, consisting of two parts, and beginning at the farthest reaches of the Zeradshan range, Pamir-Alay.
The first part winds through the mountain passes of Rost, Darg of the Zerafshan range and the original rough gorge of the Yagnob valley, and leads up to the village of Margib. The second part starts at the pearl of the Fan Mountains, Lake Iskanderkul, passes through picturesque forests, mountain passes, and glaciers to the cascades of the "Seven Bellies" lakes, and finishes at the "Vagastan" mountain base.
