National Park of Baku

National Park, or "the Boulevard", is the most popular meeting place in the city. Residents and guests of the city are attracted here by the cool air and closeness of the sea. Every guest will find here something he likes. Children play on all kinds of swings and equipment. One can sit in an outdoor cafe, drink aromatic tea, and enjoy frosty ice cream. Take a ride on a boat around Baku harbor, from where you will have a magnificent view of the grand scenery of the city. Not far from the new walking pier, an unusual fountain has been placed right under the sea. A powerful jet of water shoots high into the air and under certain wind conditions a colored rainbow appears to the delight of onlookers.

Heydar Aliyev Park

Heydar Aliyev Park is one of the most popular recreation spots in the city center. All are happy here, with the shady avenues, an abundance of lush vegetation, flowerbeds, benches, and paths. The marble fountains, reminiscent of flower buds, are the greatest feature of the Park. The monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev was built in the Park.
