Description
Laza Village in northern Azerbaijan’s Qusar Region is famous throughout the land for its numerous cattle breeders, spectacular views and dreamy waterfall which delights all those who set eyes upon it. Thanks to recent construction efforts, the remote locale is easily accessible from Baku and Quba, yet it still manages to retain its pristine and rustic atmosphere.
Program
Tour Itinerary:
In the morning, depart Baku with a guide and driver for your hiking tour. Drive to Laza (210km, 3hrs), passing through Quba on the new and comfortable road which connects the capital with the village.
Arrive in the small village of Laza, located at a height of 1300 meters above sea level at the foot of Mount Shahdag. Begin hiking to the waterfall, located just a few kilometers from the village, enjoying ample photo opportunities of stunning mountain lakes and canyons along the way. The waterfall itself offers picturesque views and a serene, untouched natural setting.
Upon reaching the waterfall, stop for a picnic lunch and a time of rest as you admire the striking beauty of the cliffs and surrounding nature.
Return to Laza and drive back to Baku. End of Laza Village Hike and Waterfall Tour.
