Baysun Wellness Tour

Your driver will pick you up from the hotel by 18:30 for transfer to Tashkent railway station. Take the overnight train, departing from Tashkent at 19:30. Overnight in 4-berth compartments.

Arrive to Baysun (Baisun), the territory of the ancient Greco-Bactrian Kingdom, at 6:40 am. Your driver will pick you up for transfer to the hotel for breakfast and luggage drop-off.
Begin your discovery of Surkhandarya Region with a drive to Derbent (Derbent) Grand Canyon (40 km, 50 min). You will pass through the Baysuntau and Hissar (Gissar) mountain ranges and Iron Gate Gorge, which according to 7th-century Chinese traveler Xuan Tzang was once guarded with wooden gates that were coated with iron and covered with bells. Stop at Xo’ja Mayxona Spring for a picnic, light hiking and a rest.
In the afternoon, drive to Kyzyl (Red) Canyon (50 km, 1 hr), where you can enjoy the great outdoors and plenty of photo opps.
Return to Baysun village. Overnight at the hotel in Baysun.

After breakfast, pack and check out of the hotel before exploring Baysun. Your tour will include the UNESCO-sponsored Craftsmen’s Centre, filled with Baysun art workshops and local homes.
Continue to Baysun Forest and Padang village (20km, 30 min). On the way, stop at the Zovboshi mountain area, where you can walk to the top of a peak to enjoy a breathtaking landscape.
Drive to Omonkhona (40 km, 50 min), a mountain health resort with a natural mineral spring believed to have curative properties. Visit the nearby grave of Saint Hodja Sultan Vali before returning to Baysun village (25 km, 35 min).
Transfer to the train station for the overnight train to Tashkent, departing Baysun at 20:30. Overnight in 4-berth compartments. At 08:15 the next morning you will arrive in Tashkent, where a driver will pick you up from the station for transfer to your hotel. End of Baysun Wellness Tour.
